HOw the conflict started
One of the major reason why the Hazara people are discriminated because of their difference in beliefs. It has occurred for reasons such as their religious beliefs as well as the difference in political and economic roots. Ethnic cleansing was also a component of the start of the conflict because they want to remove their ethnic group.

-More than 3,000 Taliban prisoners and most of them are Hazaras were massacred in 1997 -Approximately 8000 Hazara people were killed in August of 1998 -dead bodies of Hazaras everywhere in the streets for weeks before Taliban allowed their burial because of the bad smell and fear of epidemic. |
Robatak Pass
- 31 people were reported dead, killed by the Taliban .May 2000. -26 of the victims were Ismaili Hazara from Baghalan province. -The victims bodies was found in the neighborhood of Mazari. -The Hazaras and their fellow victims were held for more than 120 days before their execution. |

early 1900's- Afghan Regimes enforced racial segregation. 1990's- Thousands were killed/tortured or detained in Kabul and other places 1997- over fifteen thousand hazaras in Afganistan were killed by Taliban 2000's- historic and cultural works like Buddhas of Bamyan were destroyed by Taliban 2006- attacks in Maidan province forced more than 2000 hazaras are to flee 2007-dozens of Hazaras were killed and more than 3000 families are forced to flee 2008- Nomads attacked, steal and burned their houses in Maidan and Gazni 2010's- Hazaras are attacked in Kabul, Maidan and Gazni. |
